Happy Birthday, centenarians!

Congratulations to Helen Alpaugh, left, who turned 102 and Veronica "Tootsie" Labella, who hit 100.  They are residents of the Chelseas at Toms River and Tinton Falls, respectively.  Toms River Mayor Tom Kellaher was on hand for Helen's party.  Tootsie also received a proclamation from Tinton Falls Mayor Michael Skudera and a cake with her picture in icing. Helen spent many years active in her church in Newark, teaching Sunday school and babysitting.  Tootsie smoked until age 80, then quit when her husband died.  Happy Birthday, Helen and Tootsie!
